The price is the first thing most people want to know, and the hardest to find before someone has been to the house. Here are ours: Andersen windows and doors, supplied and installed by our own crews in New Jersey, New York City and Westchester.
Your exact figure comes after we measure, because every opening is different. The ranges below are real, and the rest of this page explains what moves a project up or down within them. Prices as of October 2026.
Per window, installed
One window, installed, before new interior trim and options:
Andersen 100 Series, Fibrex® composite inside and out: about $2,150 to $2,550
Two or three windows joined in one frame, such as a Double Casement, cost more than a single window.
A whole house
Most homeowners replace several windows at once. Two examples, with everything on this page included:
Ten 100 Series Double-Hung windows: about $21,900
Ten A-Series Double-Hung windows: about $27,100 to $27,900
Patio doors
A six-foot gliding patio door, installed, before trim and options:
100 Series: about $6,200
200 Series Perma-Shield®: about $7,300
A-Series: about $8,700
What every price includes
The installation matters more than anything else we do, so none of it is an extra:
installation by Andersen-trained Certified Installers, with years of experience installing Andersen windows and doors
a final measurement of every opening before anything is ordered
floors and furniture covered with plastic and tarps before work starts
the old windows and all the debris hauled away
exterior capping around each new window
a screen for every window that opens
clean-up and vacuuming, and a final walk-through with you
Andersen’s warranty on the product, and our own five-year warranty on the installation
What moves the price
The series. The 100 Series costs least and the A-Series most. Andersen explains the differences.
Size. We price by United Inches, the width plus the height. Bigger windows step up in price at set sizes.
Style. Double-Hung and Gliding windows cost least. Casements, joined windows, picture windows and Bay and Bow Windows cost more.
Glass. Tempered glass where the building code calls for it, such as in bathrooms and beside doors, obscure glass for privacy, and laminated or impact-resistant glass all add to the price.
Grilles, colors and hardware. Grilles, exterior colors, interior finishes and hardware finishes can each add to the price.
How it goes in. An insert fits inside the existing frame. A full-frame replacement takes the old frame out too. It costs more, and it is the right choice when the old frame is rotted.
New interior trim, if you want it.
An older house. Paint from before 1978 means lead-safe work. Our guide to older homes covers what else changes.
Permits. Where the work needs a permit, we file it. The permit fee is paid separately, before installation.
