Best when budget leads and you never want to think about the door again.
The 100 Series is built from Fibrex®, Andersen’s composite material — reclaimed wood fiber bound in polymer. It holds a slimmer frame than vinyl can, and unlike wood there is nothing to sand, prime or repaint. For a rental, a rear elevation, or a whole-house replacement where the budget has to stretch across several openings, it is usually the sensible call.
It comes one way: two panels, one fixed and one gliding. That single configuration is the trade-off for the price — if you need a four-panel run or an opening ten feet wide, you want the Narroline or the A-Series instead. Within its range it still sizes to the millimeter, so an out-of-square older opening is not a problem.
We measure the rough opening, order to it, and flash and seal the install so the frame stays square and the panel keeps gliding the way it did on day one.

A patio door is mostly glass, and the back of a house is where nobody is watching. Laminated security glass does not stop that — it makes it slow, loud and visible, because the pane stays in the frame after it breaks.
How laminated glass worksFibrex® holds its color and shrugs off weather — no sanding, no refinishing, ever.
A stronger material means a narrower frame, so more of the opening is view.
Custom widths and heights in 1/8" steps — old houses rarely measure round.
